By His stripes, we are healed
A Catholic Franciscan missionary family dedicated to healing, accompaniment, Eucharistic devotion, formation, and the ministry of consolation.
Who We Are
To console the Heart of Christ by living the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare.
Anima Christi Missionaries of Consolation is a Public Association of the Christian Faithful for Women in the Franciscan tradition. We are called to be living witnesses of Christ’s compassion, nourished by His abiding presence in the Eucharist, and sent to the poor, the forgotten, and the spiritually afflicted.
The community was founded in Katsina-Ala, Nigeria, in 2019 with the support of the late Bishop Peter I. Adoboh. Katsina-Ala remains the spiritual birthplace and seedbed of our mission of mercy.

Our Foundress
