Who We Are
Our Story
In response to the cry of wounded humanity, Sr. Felicia Mbasen Agibi, together with Bishop Peter Iornzuul Adoboh of Katsina-Ala, Nigeria, founded our missionary family. Rooted in the prayer Anima Christi—‘Soul of Christ, sanctify me’—we live in union with Him whose wounds bring healing to the world.
Our Charism
Our charism is consolation—to be living witnesses of Christ’s merciful and healing love. We embrace both prayer and action, cultivating inner stillness while reaching outward in service, bringing Christ’s light into places of suffering, loneliness, and despair.

Our Way of Life: Rooted in Prayer
The Heart of Consecrated Life
Prayer is the wellspring of our life. No service bears fruit unless it flows from intimacy with Christ. In prayer, we discover who we are: poor and humble handmaids, clothed in the mercy of our Divine Bridegroom.
Silence and Solitude
Silence is a sacred space where Christ's consoling presence speaks most clearly. We cherish recollection to nourish our prayer, strengthen our bonds, and keep our hearts attuned to the cries of the world.
Our Mother of Consolation
We cultivate a deep devotion to Mary, our Mother and model of compassion. We entrust our community and mission to her maternal care, allowing her to lead us ever closer to the pierced Heart of Christ.
