Founded in 2019 under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the blessing of Bishop Peter Iornzuul Adoboh, the Anima Christi Missionaries of Consolation (ACMC) were born to embody the consoling love of Christ in a wounded world.
We are a missionary family, contemplative and active, drawing from the wellspring of the Anima Christi prayer and the Franciscan spirit of simplicity, peace, and joy. Captured by the healing love of the Crucified and Risen Lord, the true Consoler of hearts, we cannot remain indifferent to the cries of the suffering.
